WEBGeorge’s Place, which opened in 2016, is a home for up to 30 boys where we aim to reunite/reconcile boys with their families or resettle them in foster homes. We are registered as an NGO in Uganda and have ‘Approved Home’ status from the Ministry of Gender. All our younger boys are in full time education or at vocational training colleges.

WEBJanuary, 2023. Dear friends, 2022 was an exciting and memorable year for the work of Homes of Promise. Last Easter we moved the project to Garuga. It is outside Kampala and not far from the Entebbe Expressway, although we have kept a small office in Kampala. I am happy to report that the boys have settled in well at the new George’s Place.

WEB14th April, 2021. Dear friends, It is with thanksgiving to the Lord that we look back on 2020, which was an extremely difficult year for so many people across the world. I was unexpectedly locked out of Uganda in April after I visited South Africa, but the work of Homes of Promise continued to thrive without my being in the country.
