Investigators in India are studying the black boxes of a Boeing 787 Dreamliner after recovering them from the aircraft wreckage to ascertain the cause of last week’s plane crash that left at least 270 people dead.

An Air India flight to London from Ahmedabad has been cancelled just days after the fatal Gatwick-bound Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner crash last week.

Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi on Monday confirmed that DNA samples of 125 victims in the Air India plane crash had been successfully matched, and families of 124 deceased had been contacted.

The intensified checks included scrutiny of take-off parameters, electronic engine control systems, and components related to engine fuel systems.
