Kwong, Orange County's health officer, on Friday reissued an emergency declarationn for the Airport fire that began Sept. 9 and has so far consumed more than 23,000 acres.

Airport Fire initially started 1:21 p.m. Sep. 9 in Orange, Riverside County. After being active for 11 days, it has burned 23,519 acres. A crew of 2,007 firefighters has been working on site and, by Friday evening,

JetBlue (JBLU) is opening airport lounges in New York and Boston, and launching a new premium credit card that will offer complimentary access.

JetBlue is planning to open its first lounge by the end of next year as it continues its push to compete for premium travelers. The airline announced Thursday it plans to open a lounge at its main base in Terminal 5 at New York's John F.

While JetBlue's Mint business class has been very well received, the lack of a dedicated airport lounge dampened the cabin's overall competitiveness.
