Before Monday’s 114-110 Chicago Bulls win over the San Antonio Spurs, Coby White had attempted only two dunks this year. But in the final 30 seconds, he had no choice.

White's dunk Monday over Spurs big man Victor Wembanyama was only his second of the season. He obviously can do it — and do it with power — so why doesn't it happen more often?

Coby White made a go-ahead layup with 47 seconds left, and the Chicago Bulls topped Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs 114-110.

Dunking on Victor Wembanyama is not an easy thing to do, especially if you're almost a foot shorter than him. Zach LaVine noted after the game that the Bulls had been joking about trying to dunk on him, and Coby White was actually able to pull it off.

Zach LaVine and Coby White scored 33 points each and Nikola Vucevic notched a double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds to lift the Chicago Bulls to a 139-126 win against the visiting New York Knicks on Saturday.

Victor Wembanyama has nearly a foot on Coby White, but it didn't matter in the late stages of the game on Monday night. The Bulls had a huge possession late as they were up by one point, and White was able to make a three-point game with a monster dunk over Wembanyama.

The Bulls outscored the Spurs, 32-15 in the game's final quarter as Chicago rallied from a 79-60 second half deficit. After the Bulls trailed, 97-82 to start the fourth quarter, White gave Chicago its first lead of the game by beating Wembanyama with 47.1 seconds remaining.

After the Spurs' 7-3 superstar blocked eight shots Monday, White got some revenge with a vicious dunk to cap a furious Bulls rally in the fourth quarter.
