Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan's The Legend Of Maula Jatt finally got a release date in India. It will be releasing only in Punjab on October 2. Ahead of that, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Cinema Wing's President Ameya Khopkar objected and threatened to beat any Pakistani actor entering the country.

Originally released in 2022, the movie is Pakistan's highest-grossing film to date with an earning of Rs 400 crore (Rs 4 billion). The film also features Hamza Abbasi, Fawad and Mahira in pivotal roles.

MNS chief Raj Thackeray warned of action against theatre owners if the Pakistani film, 'The Legend of Maula Jatt' was released in India on October 2. He said the movie would not be allowed to screen in Maharashtra.
