The man who survived the Key Bridge collapse and the families of six who died sued the companies behind the cargo ship that felled the span.

Damon Davis, a Key Bridge road construction inspector, will file a claim against the Dali’s owner and manager, his lawyer says.

The families of the six killed when the Dali struck and collapsed the bridge, as well the two aboard the span who survived, asked a judge not to cap damages.
