Gatwick Airport have issued a statement following the devastating Air India plane crash earlier today in India

A multi-vehicle crash on the M23 southbound between Junction 8 (Redhill) and Junction 9 (Gatwick Airport) led to the closure of three our of four lanes. National Highways has said their traffic officers are on scene, but told drivers they should expect delays of 90 minutes and around four miles of congestion.

A travel enthusiast said they had discovered a hidden route to skipping duty-free stalls at the South Terminal.
