Jeju Air and the South Korean airline industry continue to feel the impacts of accidents beyond a reduced flight schedule. The airline currently has 260 billion won ($177 million) in deferred revenue from passengers who have booked their tickets but have not yet flown.

After the deadly Jeju Air crash in South Korea this week killed 179 people, the South Korean government said that it would be inspecting every domestic model of the plane involved, the Boeing (BA) 737-800.

The exact cause of the Boeing 737-800 crash is still unknown, but investigators have pointed to a bird strike, faulty landing gear and the runway barrier as possible issues.
