St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Jordan Walker will be sidelined at least a week after suffering a minor knee injury – the result of his stepping on a sprinkler head while running down a fly ball during Tuesday's spring training game against the Washington Nationals.

The St. Louis Cardinals drafted Jordan Walker in the first round of the 2020 MLB draft. After a decent rookie season in 2023 he was named the starting right fielder for opening day in 2024, but spent much of the season in triple-A.
