After an upset 81-70 loss in Waco to the unranked Baylor Bears last Saturday, the No. 16 Kansas Jayhawks bounced back in big fashion Monday night, taking down the No. 8 Iowa State Cyclones at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence via a 69-52 score.

The No. 8 Iowa State Cyclones boast a 17-4 record and a 7-3 record in conference. No. 4 Auburn, West Virginia, Arizona, and most recently, Kansas State, were responsible for their four losses. Houston, Arizona, and Texas Tech occupy the top three spots in the Big 12.

No. 8-ranked Iowa State fell to 17th-ranked Kansas at Allen Fieldhouse, 69-52. It's never easy playing at the Jayhawks' home arena, and Iowa State shot a season-low 19-of-62 overall (30.6%) and 3-of-21 (14.3%) from deep.

Tamin Lipsey, Keshon Gilbert and Joshua Jefferson scored 11 points apiece for Iowa State, but it took a whole lot of shots for them to get there. The trio was 13 of 42 from the field and 2 of 14 from beyond the 3-point arc.
