The Babylon Village LIRR station is undergoing major renovations to become fully accessible meeting ADA standards, the MTA says.

The Babylon LIRR station will be undergoing major renovations for the next two years, and will come out the other side with new platforms, waiting rooms, escalators and more.

Work is underway at the Babylon station to renovate the over 150-year-old station - with two new platforms, updated elevators, lighting, waiting areas and more. The MTA says the project is estimated to cost $82 million, and is part of their current capital plan.
