Max Muncy and Teoscar Hernandez each homered twice and Mookie Betts had three hits as the Los Angeles Dodgers shook off their offensive struggles with a 12-6 win over the St. Louis Cardinals.

In the Dodgers’ 12-6 win over the St. Louis Cardinals, Muncy officially christened his comeback with a four-for-five, four-RBI performance that included a pair of no-doubt home runs off Miles Mikolas — picking up almost exactly where he left off before suffering a July 2 knee injury that he feared would end his season.

The Los Angeles Dodgers activated infielder Max Muncy from the injured list but also placed infielder Tommy Edman on the IL on Monday. Muncy, 34, has been sidelined since injuring his left knee during the Dodgers' game against the Chicago White Sox on July 2.
