Nearly 200 absentee ballots in Madison from November's general election were not properly processed, the City of Madison Clerk's Office said Thursday.

The City of Madison more than a month after the November election announced it had found nearly 200 absentee ballots that were never counted before election results were certified.

The City of Madison Clerk’s Office said nearly 200 absentee ballots were not processed correctly in the City of Madison during the 2024 General Election. The Clerk’s Office said while the 193 uncounted ballots would not have affected the result of any race or referendum,
