On Friday, Aug. 8, Lions player Morice Norris Jr. was attempting to tackle Falcons running back Nathan Carter when he suffered injuries to the head and neck area. At the time, the Lions were leading 17-10 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, the NFL and Sky Sports reported.

But on the Falcons' final drive of the game, Lions cornerback Morice Norris went down with a scary injury that led to him leaving the stadium in an ambulance. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport later confirmed Norris had suffered head and neck injury.

It hardly sounded like a victory lap from Shedeur Sanders as he caught up with the Browns team broadcast after a very successful NFL preseason debut. He called the overall performance over the first three quarters “definitely a win” but was not thrilled with his showing on an individual level.
