It's a strange draft in that every NFL team entered in control of its first-round selection for the first time since 1967, per ESPN Research. But we saw one deal right at the start of Day 1, as the Jacksonville Jaguars traded up to the Cleveland Browns ' No. 2 spot, selecting Colorado wide receiver and cornerback Travis Hunter.

Similar to Day 1, Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft included several notable trades as teams continued to either move up or move down during the second and third rounds.  The Seahawks made the first trade on Day 2,

Kansas City sent the No. 31 pick to the Philadelphia Eagles for the No. 32 and 164 selections. Given that the Eagles took a defender when the Chiefs were targeting an offensive lineman, this trade made a lot of sense for the Chiefs, who needed to add a Day 3 pick via trade at some point during the draft.
