A Pakistani court has rejected a plea for acquittal from former Prime Minister Imran Khan, who has been held in prison for more than a year in a graft case.

A Pakistani court rejected former prime minister Imran Khan’s request for lifting charges for hiding income from the sale of gifts obtained from foreign leaders during his time in power.

Khan, 72, has been implicated in dozens of cases since his government was dismissed through a no-confidence motion in 2022
