Searching for salvation far away from NHL arenas, Tristan Jarry’s phone never stopped ringing. The calls were coming from inside his old house. Now he’s back, looking quite at home, and those calls — check-ins from Pittsburgh Penguins teammates — were as beneficial as any goaltending drill or mental exercise he undertook during a couple of months in the AHL.

Here are your Pens Points for this Friday morning... The Pittsburgh Penguins hosted the St. Louis Blues on Thursday night. Although they were outplayed and certainly outshot, goaltender Tristan Jarry continues to use his voodoo magic to help the Penguins win their third consecutive game.

The Penguins defeated the St. Louis Blues by a narrow margin, 5-3, for their third consecutive win against a pretty formidable Western opponent. St. Louis came into this game 7-1-2 in their last 10 games and just two points out of the final wild card spot in the Western Conference.

The Pittsburgh Penguins (27-31-10) played their second of a five-game homestand when they welcomed the St. Louis Blues (31-28-7) to PPG Paints Arena Thursday night.
