Police say a tow truck driver was grazed by a bullet while attempting to repossess a vehicle Wednesday evening in South Memphis. Police were called to the 2300 block of Warren Street for a report of a shooting just after 6 p.

Starkville police responded to a reported fight and a shot fired at McKee Park on May 21 around 4:30 p.m. Officers secured the entry and exit points of the Lynn Lane park and made contact with the individuals involved. The disturbance occurred at the park’s pavilion.

A witness told police that two Black males on a scooter drove by and one with a blue hoodie on the back began shooting a firearm toward the houses along the street. The scooter then fled and took a left on Bowdoin Street, the witness stated.
