TAMPA -- Andrei Vasilevskiy became the fastest goalie to reach 300 NHL wins, and the Tampa Bay Lightning handed the Winnipeg Jets their second loss of the season, 4-1 at Amalie Arena on Thursday. Vasilevskiy hit the milestone in 490 games, breaking the record set by Jacques Plante (521 games).

Vasilevskiy recorded his 300th career NHL win in this matchup and became the fastest goalie to hit the milestone in NHL history. It took the 2012 first-round pick only 490 games to reach his 300th win. Hockey legend Jacques Plante previously held the record, recording his 300th win in his 521st NHL game.
