Bangladesh pace bowler Hasan Mahmud picked up his second five-wicket haul in a row as India was bowled out for 376 runs in its first innings on Day 2 of the first cricket test.

Indian bowler Jasprit Bumrah completed 400 wickets in international cricket during the first Test against Bangladesh in Chennai, becoming the 10th Indian to achieve this feat. His outstanding performance included 4/50 in 11 overs during Bangladesh's first innings.

The star pacer Jasprit Bumrah claimed four wickets to help India restrict Bangladesh to 149 in their first innings and then Shubman Gill scored an unbeaten 33 runs to stretch India's lead past 300 at the end of Day 2 in Chennai.
