Thomas Frank’s first signing as Spurs head coach has reportedly been confirmed. Frank, 51, was appointed as Spurs ’ head coach on Thursday after a successful seven-year spell at Brentford.

Tottenham are reportedly closing in on the permanent signing of Mathys Tel following his loan spell at the club. The forward looks set to be Thomas Frank’s first signing at Spurs since replacing Ange Postecoglou in north London earlier this week.

On Thursday evening, Frank was announced as Tottenham Hotspur’s new head coach on a three-year contract. The 51-year-old is the successor to Ange Postecoglou, who became the first Spurs manager to lift a trophy since 2008 when they won the Europa League final last month.
