UCLA Chancellor Julio Frenk updated the campus community that the federal government has suspended $584 million in "groundbreaking" research funds, following claims of "antisemitism."

The federal judge criticized the Trump administration for trying to circumvent an earlier order by her, which halted the termination of science grants.

Judge Rita F. Lin ordered the National Science Foundation to restore grants awarded to the university, which she said had been suspended in defiance of the court.
