NJPW kicks off its biggest weekend of the year today with its biggest show of the year, Wrestle Kingdom 19 in Tokyo Dome. In the main event, IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Zack Sabre Jr.

The IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship changed hands at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19. David Finlay defended the title against Yota Tsuji at the show, and Tsuji pinned him with The Gene Blaster to win the title.

Konosuke Takeshita won the NEVER Openweight Championship at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19, defeating Shingo Takagi. Takeshita picked up the victory with a roaring elbow followed by the Raging Fire. Takeshita remains the AEW International Champion. He will defend both titles against Tomohiro Ishii at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty on January 5th.
