With Buffy the Vampire Slayer's return officially confirmed and underway at Hulu, many of us are now thinking about what we need from the reboot.

Trachtenberg, who starred in Harriet the Spy (1996) and The Adventures of Pete and Pete (1994–1996) before joining Buffy, went on to appear in films like EuroTrip (2004), Mysterious Skin (2004), and Ice Princess (2005) before scoring the role of party girl Georgina Sparks on Gossip Girl (2008–2012), a role she'd reprise for the show's 2021 reboot.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer was a campy and colorful film before it was remade as the long-running horror series on The WB. In 1992, the first iteration of the iconic vampire slayer hit the silver screen.

Nicholas Brendon, Alyson Hannigan, Charisma Carpenter, and others also paid tribute to their former costar after her tragic passing on Feb. 26.

When the series shifted from the WB to UPN for its sixth season, fans were treated to one of its most innovative episodes: the musical Once More With Feeling. Most prominently for Trachtenberg, whose ballet talents were showcased that week, she opens the episode’s coda, “Where Do We Go From Here?,” singing the opening title line a cappella.
