After rejecting a Senate-passed bill, House Republicans are racing toward a vote on their own funding proposal.

The U.S. Senate unanimously passed a bill to fund most of the Department of Homeland Security, aiming to end a long shutdown.

The measure would provide funding for an assortment of programs, including the Transportation Security Administration, the Coast Guard and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
