Saturday’s Powerball jackpot has soared to a whopping $1.7 billion after no one hit the jackpot Wednesday night. However, a $1 million ticket was purchased at a Publix in Florida, and several other winners from the Sunshine State also walked away with thousands in lottery earnings.
A Florida lottery player scored a big prize — but might not know it yet. The player bought a Fantasy 5 ticket that matched all the numbers picked in the Sept. 8 evening drawing, making it worth more than $100,000. The winning numbers: 5-10-11-27-33.

The ticket was sold at the Publix Super Market at Atlantic Plaza in Satellite Beach, and the buyer opted to choose their own set of five numbers ranging from one to 36, records show. The player beat the 1-in-376,992 odds to match all five numbers to win the jackpot, according to the Florida Lottery.
