Immediately after the attack, the suspect boarded an M2 bus on Madison Avenue near East 28th Street, a few blocks away, video released late Thursday shows.

The new video shows the man right after he got off a northbound M2 bus in Midtown, following the incident at the Van Leeuwen Ice Cream shop in Kips Bay.
