YouTube is rolling out a new feature called "Edit into a Short" to help creators easily clip their long-form content for its TikTok competitor, YouTube Shorts.

YouTube also states that only the original creator of the content will be able to create a Short from it. No other creators can make Shorts from your videos in this way.
