Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh announced he will be getting a couple of procedures done this offseason. Harbaugh told reporters that he will be getting a hip replacement and undergoing a cardiac ablation which is a procedure of treating irregular heartbeats.

With their season over, the Los Angeles Chargers have turned their attention to the offseason and getting healthy. But players aren’t the only ones tending to their wounds. Head coach Jim Harbaugh also has work to do.

Jim Harbaugh’s offseason plans include undergoing two medical procedures. During his end-of-the-year news conference Wednesday after his Los Angeles Chargers lost in the AFC Wild Card round to the Houston Texans on Saturday, the 61-year-old head coach said he will have a cardiac ablation as well as hip replacement surgery “soon.”
