Travel disruptions were ongoing Saturday following a Christmas-week snowstorm that dropped several inches of snow in the Northeast, as a new storm system sweeps across the country.

A winter storm blanketed the Greater New York area, leading to more than 400 flight cancellations across the region’s major airports.

The mix of snow, sleet and ice increased the risk of slick roads, isolated downed tree branches and potential power outages.
