Microsoft free Power BI is slated to get some serious mapping capabilities, as Microsoft yesterday announced ArcGIS for Power BI by Esri is on the way sometime this year.

The ArcGIS Maps for Power BI Plus subscription offers users who opt in access to global demographics, expanded data mapping, and more content from Esri's Living Atlas of the World.
