Sunny, seasonable Thursday for North Texas before temperatures rise into the 80s this weekend
The weekend will be beautiful with highs in the 80s, aside from a windy Sunday, with gusts of up to 40 mph.
After Wednesday, the forecast looks very quiet! We have a strong cold front coming through on Sunday but it will come through dry. Sunday will be windy but temperatures could drop over 20 degrees as we start next week!
An updated report was issued from the NWS Fort Worth TX on Tuesday at 10:17 p.m. for strong thunderstorms until 10:45 p.m. The alert is for Dallas, Kaufman and Ellis counties.
The main risks will be large hail and damaging winds; however, an isolated tornado is still a possibility.
