Aliyah Rayann Miles was shot and killed while in a vehicle in the 1700 block of East Robert Street on Sunday, according to Fort Worth police and Tarrant County medical examiner’s office. Two people also showed up at a hospital with gunshot wounds believed to be related to the shooting, police said in a news release.

Through the preliminary investigation, detectives found that the woman who died and another shooting victim were at the complex to fight the other women present. As the vehicle, driven by the shooting victim, approached the group, unknown suspects fired multiple shots, striking the vehicle and both victims, police said.

About 8 p.m., a 911 caller reported that someone was shot and "a lot of people were fighting" at Gateway Park.
