President Trump plans to build a $200 million ballroom off the East Wing “long before” the end of his term in 2029.

The 47th president on Tuesday climbed way up to the roof of the White House briefing room for an unannounced visit so he could survey the site of the massive $200 million East Wing ballroom addition and renovation he announced last week.

P resident Donald Trump was seen surveying the White House grounds from the building’s roof Tuesday, telling reporters he was “taking a little walk” a week after announcing plans to add a $200 million ballroom.
