Despite leading his team to a 15-1 record and the No. 1 seed for the AFC playoffs, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was not selected to be part of the 2025 NFL Pro Bowl selection when rosters were announced on Thursday,

All Mahomes has done since signing that last contract is win two Super Bowls and earn two Pro Bowl spots, and he led the NFL with 5.250 yards in 2021. Mahomes now has the Chiefs as the top team in the NFL at 15-1, and still holds the all-time record for postseason quarterback rating, at 105.8.

Not seeing Mahomes' name among the best at his position is jarring; the two-time MVP and three-time Super Bowl champion has been almost universally regarded as the best QB in the league from pretty much the moment he stepped foot on an NFL field.
