Bill and Hillary Clinton were less than impressed by Donald Trump’s inaugural speech, a fact which they made clear with subtle snark. The address that followed Trump’s swearing-in on Monday was tinged with vindication.

Hillary Clinton arrived at Donald Trump‘s 2025 presidential inauguration on Monday, wearing a dark blue pantsuit. Her coat, which featured a single top button, was also adorned with a gold-and-blue pin on her left side.

As Barack, 63, Bill, 78, and Hillary, 77, entered the U.S. Capitol rotunda in Washington, D.C., on Monday for the 78-year-old’s historic swearing-in ceremony, people at the Capitol One Arena could be heard loudly booing.

Rather than wear MAGA red or bipartisan white, they dressed in the color of democracy. Bill, the 42nd U.S. president, was sharp in a dark navy suit, white shirt, and bright blue tie. Hillary coordinated in her own power suit, composed of a buttoned-up coat and tailored pants, in a deep royal blue. Her coat was adorned with a gold-and-blue pin.
