By late morning it was clear, June 6 was no ordinary Friday in LA. Federal agents arrested people in and around downtown Los Angeles. Some day laborers near a Home Depot in Westlake, others working in the Fashion District at Ambience apparel.

Hundreds of demonstrators have been arrested in cities across the country in recent days as they protest the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown and the deployment of National Guard troops and U.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested more than 70 people during a raid at Glenn Valley Foods. Now, ICE says more than 70 people have been "removed or transferred."
