MILAN — Over the past few months, as Christian Pulisic has gone from America’s biggest soccer star to one the best players at AC Milan, he has started doing his post-match interviews in Italian.

The adrenaline of AC Milan’s comeback victory over Juventus, delivered by USMNT stars Christian Pulisic and Yunus Musah, was still subsiding and the Portuguese head coach outlined the key quality that swung their comeback. “In football and in life, you’ve got to be brave,” he told reporters in a post-match press conference.

Pulisic is close to returning from injury. Former AC Milan boss Fonseca stated that the 26-year-old was expected to miss the Supercoppa Italiana semifinal against Juventus on Friday, Jan. 3, but Pulisic is already back in training.
