The man suspected of murdering a beloved Southern California grandfather after breaking into his Fontana business earlier this month has been arrested, officials confirmed to KTLA on Tuesday.

Ronalee Barrett Stanberry, 37, was apprehended in Hollywood, 18 days after police say he bludgeoned Fritz Mendoza, 79.

The victim, Fritz Mendoza, 79, was a veteran who was married to his wife for over 50 years. He operated an Allstate insurance business in Fontana for over 30 years and loved serving his customers.
