Memphis basketball coach Penny Hardaway is developing yet another bona fide superstar, in PJ Haggerty, right before our eyes.

PJ Haggerty scored 27 points to lead No. 21 Memphis over a stubborn North Texas 68-64. Haggerty was 11 of 14 from the field, including hitting his first seven shots in the game.

It was not without drama, however, as a dunk by Moulaye Sissoko helped North Texas trim the deficit to two points with 12 seconds remaining. But Colby Rogers made two free throws to earn Memphis (12-3, 2-0 American) its fifth win in six games.
