SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - One of two officers who were injured in the deadly shooting at the Martin’s Super Market on Jackson Boulevard in Elkhart is being released from the hospital this afternoon.

The Elkhart Police Department reports officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Jackson Boulevard and 2nd Street which occurred around 12:25 p.m., Thursday.
