A Chippewa Falls man is honoring former Milwaukee Brewers announcer Bob Uecker with a unique art tribute this summer.

Milwaukee CBS network affiliate WDJT-TV (Channel 58) has hired a meteorologist to fill the position vacated in January with the station’s firing of Sam Kuffel.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported a spokesperson for Weigel Broadcasting Co., which owns WDJT-TV, confirmed Kuffel was no longer at the station but did not give more details.
