While the announcement post of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 did mention that the game had "streamlined goals in a two minute format," the FAQ for the game also says that "everything from the original games will return for this remake," something seemingly not true given the apparent confirmation of the free roam career mode being dropped.

The game is being developed by Iron Galaxy, the studio behind the PC version of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, which was released in 2020. Iron Galaxy also recently worked on Killer Instinct and Rumblevese, in addition to co-developing remastered Crash and Spyro trilogies.
