Arguably, the most famous of Marvel’s many melee combatants is none other than Wolverine and his adamantium claws. The guy’s been the master of rushing and slashing since his X-Men: Children of the Atom days, and Marvel Rivals maintains that proud tradition.

Marvel Rivals recently kicked off season 1, introducing Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman as new playable heroes along with a new convoy map that takes you through the streets of a Dracula-controlled New York.

The Marvel Rivals tier list is proof of an inherent truth: not every hero (or villain) is built equally. In the competitive shooter’s season 1 (which added two characters, two maps, a battle pass, and skins ), every character is technically viable, but there are some who are obviously more powerful than the rest.

Marvel Rivals is an exciting third-person shooter that somehow incorporates many heroes' and villains' different powers into one coalescing experience. The Unreal Engine 5-powered visuals make the action look spectacular, and the stages look amazing, even if the level design can be forgettable.

NetEase Games creative director Guangyun Chen has revealed 'Marvel Rivals' will get a new playable character "each half of the season" - which will be roughly every six weeks.
