Social Security recipients across the country will see a major change after President Donald Trump ordered the federal government to modernize its payment system.

The Trump administration has taken a “hatchet” to Social Security and the program is teetering toward the possibility of its first missed check in 90 years, former President Joe Biden said in his first public speech since leaving the White House.

In his first speech since leaving office, former President Joe Biden criticized the Trump administration's staffing cuts and other changes at the Social Security Administration, but he made several misleading claims in the process.
