A trio of Apple customers this month filed a class action lawsuit against Apple, accusing the Cupertino company of violating California

According to classaction.org, a class action lawsuit has been filed against the Cupertino giant around sound quality and noise canceling complaints. There's no word about how much money the lawsuit is looking for, but it will apparently cover everyone who bought a pair of the affected earbuds.

Three users filed a class action lawsuit in the Northern District of California court, claiming that Apple knowingly sold its AirPods Pro with sound defects. According to the users, after buying the earphones, which Apple released on October 30th, 2019, they experienced “static and crackling” sounds to either one or both of the earphones.

The hearing aid feature is available with AirPods Pro 2 models, and requires an iPhone or iPad to set it up. It starts with built-in tests that will help users determine if they have hearing loss, set up the feature if they do, and set personalized amplification levels.

Apple is being sued over the crackling and static sounds and other audio quality issues plaguing its very first AirPods Pro model, released in 2019 and sold through September 2022. Shortly after the first AirPods Pro units arrived,
