The Amazing Race season 38 cast was officially announced in August 2025. In all 13 pairs, at least one person competed on the hit surveillance show, Big Brother. Before filming started, the contestants were unaware they'd compete against their fellow Big Brother alums.
Later at the nominations ceremony, Rachel officially named her three nominees for eviction: Mickey Lee, Morgan Pope, and Vince Panaro. This is the first time on the block for the two girls, and Vince's second consecutive week in danger. They are the three remaining members of the "Melting Pot" alliance, after Zach Cornell was evicted in Week 5.
As “The Amazing Race” returns this fall with a group of all-star “Big Brother” alums competing against each other - and paired with a friend or family member as their travel partner - CBS has released the names of those teams racing around the world for Season 38.

‘The Amazing Race’ season 38 cast is full of ‘Big Brother’ alums — including two sets of exes
That’s right, all 13 duos competing on season 38 contain at least one “Big Brother” alum. There are even two sets of exes: season 24’s Taylor Hale and Joseph Abdin and season 26’s Tucker Des Lauriers and Rubina Bernabe.
The ousted player still stands by his decision to not take himself off the block.
Equipped with a $10,000 safety option and a secret "BB Buy-Off" power, Zach Cornell chose to safeguard alliance member Morgan in Week 6 rather than use it. Instead, he intended to win the crucial Blockbuster competition and trusted in his social ties.
