BOSTON – Prior to the final game of the weekend series with Houston, Red Sox chief baseball officer Craig Breslow took questions from reporters in the home dugout and offered some updates on a number of players in the organization. *Breslow said he was comfortable with some pitching options the organization has at Worcester.

It seemed like the Red Sox would be aggressive buyers at the trade deadline, especially after getting rid of Devers’ contract. While they did make some moves, they weren’t anything special on the surface. ESPN’s David Schoenfield named Boston as one of the trade deadline losers.
