Texas officials reported that at least 25 people have died and 237 people were rescued Friday following major flooding in Central Texas.

Governor Greg Abbott announced a state-based disaster declaration for 13 counties affected by the Hill Country floods, and confirmed 24 fatalities, while Texas Task Force 1 and 2 are working nonstop to find missing people and provide support to those affected.
