Two children, Alana and Arya Maldonado, who were abducted from Hanford, have been found safe, and their father, Jonathan Maldonado-Cruz, has been taken into custody.

Two girls were located on Thursday after they were believed to have been abducted by their father in Hanford, Kings County.

Deputies said he was tracked through cellphone across the Mexican-American border and was talked into surrendering Thursday morning.
